A journalist is shot to death at the doorstep of Shanti, also a journalist, who swears to bring the culprit Vishtar Nath to book. Jai Tilak belongs to a Rajput clan loyal to the kind and just king. However, the Maharaja's wicked son Shamsher Singh usurps the throne by killing the king.
