Mumtaz is a village girl whose family is killed in communal riots. She moves to Mumbai with her uncle, the only family member she has left. His superiors are impressed with his performance and assign him a special case of stopping smuggling activities, which Sunil accepts with great pride. Vijay & Parvati (Jamuna), only daughter of Dr. Krishna always get into petty quarrels. Once, Dr. Krishna visits a seaside resort for rest when he gets a severe breathing attack.
