Prem Shankar is the son of a rich businessman whose parents want him to marry in a rich family. Prem loves a gypsy girl Dulari (who was kidnapped by gypsies in her childhood) but her father orders him not to marry her. Prem, however, disagrees and leaves the house to marry Dulari. He brings Dulari to his other house to marry. The gypsy Sardar's son also wants to marry her and kidnaps her again. He also loots Dulari's real father and ties him to his backyard. Another gypsy woman Kasturi (Geeta Bali) gets to know Dulari's truth and frees her father. Prem after fighting frees Dulari again. His mother brings both back homes, but his father refuses to bless them. Another gypsy, who knows Dulari's truth and has her childhood photo comes to Prem's house. They all realize, Dulari is the daughter of a friend of Prem's friend, another businessman. Dulari is reunited with her family. And she and Prem get blessings of their elders more»

The film is about Thomas Kora(Innocent)aged 80, who is the head of a famous family of the middle Travancore region. Residing in the estate bungalow at Peermade, he never looks more than sixty. Once the favorite henchman of Henry Sayip, Kora was presented this bungalow and estate when Henry went back to England. Thereafter people started calling him, Kora Sahib. Kora has five sons and two daughters. His youngest son Joji(Saiju Kurup), was born on the fifty-sixth birthday of Kora. Since Joji was born after the golden jubilee year of Kora, he was popularly called by the neighbors as Jubilee. An automobile engineer by profession, he was also a specialist in motorcycle races, but an immature adult who can't keep serious relationships, taking life as it comes. Moreover, he was already on his way to some kind of trouble, all the time. Kora had a special liking to his youngest son, who at a point of time falls into clearly planned allegation of a murder. As police trace Joji, Kora has nothing else to do but to offer him all protection and to save him from the associated scandal. Jayanthi herself offers all the jewels and plays coy, before her father. As the movie proceeds, son, increasingly known as Bettada Kalla is pitted against the father and only one can survive.
