Raja (Daebu Banerji) an orphan and Kajol (Nivedita Tiwari) from a rich family background are students at Dudley College in Mumbai. Raja hadn't been to college for days, leaving very little time for preparation. Poonam and Akshay who'd become good friends from the word go and who themselves are lonely souls with bitter memories; are happy to discover a feeling which always eluded them - the joy of a family.
