The film is a tale in between two kingdoms; Vichitrapuram, ruled by King Chitrasena (Mukkamala) and Kanchanapuram, ruled by Hiranyavarma. Chitrasena is interested in fancy items and he announces that whoever gets it will be given half of his kingdom. Anne (Madhavi) works as a typist in Daniel's (Mohanlal) office and he has an eye on her. She is often followed by Tony (Mammootty), a wealthy businessman and he confesses his love for her.
