The story revolves around Manikyan (Mohanlal), Sreekrishnan(Nedumudi Venu) and Karthumbi (Shobana) and the love triangle between them. Venkat (Prabhas) meets Shailaja (Trisha) on a train journey and they immediately get attracted to each other after dancing in a rain shower.
