Tutiya Dil (UA) is the story of Rhea Kapoor (Suzanna Mukherjee) who falls in love with her new boss, Karan Oberoi (Nikhil Sabharwal). However, she soon realises that Karan is two-timing her. She walks out on him but is unable to forget him. She is even ready to forgive him when he makes the first move after the breakup, but he once again lets her down rather badly. After walking out on Karan, Rhea begins to stay in the house of Vishal Khanna (Sidhant Kapur), a colleague, who understands her predicament and sympathises with her. Vishal is living in with his girlfriend but still makes place for Rhea in his house because he cares for her. After her bad experience in love, Rhea likens men to turkeys, a species of birds which are always on the hunt for new hens to mate with. Chaurahen - Crossroads is an evocative and poignant composition consisting of three separate stories set in three different cities in contemporary India. Each revolves around love, life, and loss. The first story enters straight into the heart of Farooq (Ankur Khanna) and Ira's (Soha Ali Khan) relationship in Mumbai. Farooq remains troubled by his own inability to let go of the memories of his dead parents in his ancestral which he continues to occupy and use as the disturbing muse for his own writing. So deeply ensconced in being haunted by his own past, Farooq appears incapable of fully living in the present, to the extent to which he proves powerless in responding to the possibility of sharing true love with Ira.\n\nIn Kolkatta, the second vignette revolves around Dr. Siddharth Bose (Victor Banerjee), a wealthy Calcutta surgeon in his fifties. Dr. Bose's is stuck in the rut of a loveless, pitiful, and seemingly pointless marriage which he attempts to rattle by embarking on a quick, nervous and uncomfortable affair with a much younger woman. His lover, Lea (Keira Chaplin), is a German on her own journey to discover India, and to some extent herself. Their passionate yet tormented romance lays the groundwork for Dr. Bose and his wife (Roopa Ganguly) to repair their relationship while Dr. Bose simultaneously self-destructs his nascent, doomed affair.\n\nThe third and final story occurs in the south Indian city of Kochi where the Nair family confronts the sudden loss of a nuclear family member who died serving in the Indian military. Its a fun masala romp with generous helpings of the recommended masala allowance. There is fiesty Hirni (Zarina Wahab) who wears backless cholis and sells liquor while her smoking hot boy-friend Jaamlia (Vinod Khanna) languishes in prison. Then there is the college-going Rekha (a very subdued Neetu Singh) whose attachment to Hamlet is exemplary -- she goes to bed with it! Her hair goes from shoulder length to waist length in the space of a few moments. Perhaps that is why a visiting drunkard -- Anand (Shashi Kapoor) -- falls for her and stalks her in a bordering-on-harassment song sequence. Mahendranath (Bharat Bhushan) is a rich and lonely old man with a smarmy new manager Dilip Singh (Prem Chopra). Mahendranath had a much younger brother Rajen (the annoying kid from Fakira) - a wilful brat who left home one day, never to be heard of again. Instead of heaving a sigh of "good riddance", Mahendranath keeps hoping Rajen will return. Taking advantage of the old man's hopes, Dilip hires an unemployed youth (Raza Murad), to impersonate the lost-and-now-grown-up Rajen. Mahendranath happily hands over all his property to "Rajen" and is promptly murdered by Prem. "Rajen" himself is bumped off later.Things get more complicated with new twists and thrills at every turn. Someone is sending Dilip threatening letters about Mahendranath's murder. Jaamlia is fighting off goons who land like flies in Shaitan Chowki to evict the residents. Anand makes a pact with Dilip to get Shaitan Chowki vacated. But is he tricking the residents or Dilip?
