It's Rocking - Dard-E-Disco is the story of two fun-loving brothers. Rambo (Aryeman Ramsay), and Rocky (Akshay Kapoor), who dream of opening their own discotheque like the happing Dard-E-Disco, owned by disco king DK (Bappi Lahiri). They try to touch base with DK but his secretary, Johny (Asrani), will not let them enter the discotheque without an invitee pass. The two brothers get lucky one day and meet DK who entertains them in his discotheque and even asks them to come over to his office. However, their attempt to meet DK in his office fails as Johny won't allow them. Meanwhile, Powderbhai (Shakti Kapoor) who is constantly trying to sell drugs in Dard-E-Disco keeps meeting with failure as DK won't allow the sale of drugs. According to DK life are music are so intoxicating that nobody needs to crave foe drugs. Finally, when all efforts of Powderbhai and his gang members fail, they kidnap DK. At this juncture Rambo and Rocky along with their girlfriends Geeta (Rituparna Sengupta) and Mili (Sneha Ullal) decide to risk their own lives to save DK. What happens thereafter? The film kicks off when Akshay, young IT professional from Delhi; only child of a single parent Suneel Narang embarks on a journey to get his father, a widower; married so to finally put an end to his prolonged loneliness. Co-incidentally in Jaipur, a vibrant young girl Poonam is on the same hunt to find a partner for her mother, Shoma; whom she's seen as a divorcee since childhood. They get in touch with each other through a matrimonial website named 'secondmarriage.com' and after initial denial of the idea by their parents they finally sail through and get they married. Poonam and Shoma then join Akshay and Suneel into a new adequate flat in Gurgaon and a distinguished family scenario arises for the four, filled with a new cook hailing from a rustic background, Bihaari and a north-eastern maid Flower. Suneel and Shoma are not at ease with each other to start with but gradually spark of romance start to fly off. Poonam and Akshay who'd become good friends from the word go and who themselves are lonely souls with bitter memories; are happy to discover a feeling which always eluded them - the joy of a family. But, little does anyone know the course of destiny and upheaval which it is to bring to their family and which shall germinate from the seed of love! After the passing away of his dad, Javed lives a poor lifestyle with his widowed mom in India. Babyji a.k.a Mummyji (Kirron Kher) is a modern mother who lives in Chandigarh with her husband (Kanwaljeet) and their three adult children. A Sikh bachelor (Jackie Shroff), who was Mummyji's college classmate, stays close to their house and often visits the family. Her husband takes this in good humour as he is also friends with the bachelor. A maid (Divya Dutta) is the gossipmonger of the housing society. Soon, Mummyji finds suitable brides for her two sons. To her surprise, the bride, who seems to fit into her criteria for her daughters-in-law, reveal their true colours after marriage. While her homely daughter-in-law breaks into an outrageous dance at her other son's wedding, her NRI daughter-in-law turns out to be a cheat, who was trying to swindle the family! However, life soon returns to normalcy as the daughter-in-laws come around. June R, an orphan, was born in the month of June, for which she was named. She works in an advertising agency. One day she happens to come across a middle-aged woman hurt badly in an accident. Deeply hurt, Raniammal finds solace in June's company, who also longs for a motherly love since childhood. June decides to take Rajalakshmi to her house and calls her mom. Both togethercherish life who once were starved for love. Later her son comes back again to take his mother back, Rajalakshmi realising her son s evil thoughts refuses to get back to him. Later on Rajalakshmi's refusal he visits June and quarrels with her to give back his mother, June baffles with his sudden love for his mother. This implies an emotional entangle between the both meanwhile Rajalakshmi falls sick and June on seeing Raniammal's pathetic condition brings her brother whom she wanted to meet before she dies. On visiting Rajalakshmi's home town she unveils the mystery behind his sudden love for his mother. Now entrant Amudha a noted and leading lawyer aids June to get back her new mother legally, prostrating Arun's wicked thoughts in the court of law. At last the judgement favours June.
