Inba (Shaam) is a rough character who works under Priya's brother (Arun Pandiyan) as a body guard of Priya (Sneha). Priya is an usurious girl, spending most of the time with her friends and absenting herself from the college several times. Hence Arun Pandiyan employa Inba, his faithful servant to guard Priya's activities. Priya insults him several times since she was not interested in somebody guarding her all the time. However at one point of the story Priya is saved by Inba from a gang that is to murder her. The incident develops love in Priya's heart. Priya exposes her love to Inba where Inba refuses it. In the meantime, Arun Pandiyan comes to know about the love affair and opposes it by beating up Inba. Priya chases Inba to prove her true love for him. Finally, Inba reveals the true reason for not accepting her love opening up a flash back. The flash back opens with Inba's school days. Inba has been a genius boy scoring top marks in his lessons. Jyothi (Poornitha) who is jealous upon him plays with him in the name of love and cheats him. This makes Inba lose concentration in his studies and Jyothi then dies. Inba is then sent for jail for the murder which he was at no fault. Returning back he finds his mother and sister helpless and does some work to earn them food and then joins Arun Pandian's Group. He concludes that he is not interested in falling in the hands of rich girl's false love and leave his family unguarded again. Pandiya is a young man who leads a troubled life. He is continuously being chased by Marudhu (a look-alike of him) and Marudhu's boss Kabali, who would be given a lot of money if they killed Pandiya. While being chased by them once, he gets into a runaway car being driven by an insane young girl (Vasanthi). The car crashes, but the girl is cured from her insanity. Her father allows Pandiya, who is homeless, to stay with them. Parallelly, Pandiya falls for Geetha and her father Amritha Lingam accepts the romance. But Marudhu and Kabali's pursuit for Pandiya still continues, and they successfully toss him into the sea. However Pandiya's elder brother Shankar, a scientist finds out about everything and agrees to help. He pretends to be Pandiya after faking his own death and confronts Marudhu and Kabali, making them shocked to see "Pandiya" alive. Just then, the real Pandiya steps in, revealing that two fisherman saved him from drowning and hell breaks loose. The two brothers battle the criminals and in the process, Kabali accidentally shoots Marudhu dead. Saddened by the death of his friend, he commits suicide. So Pandiya and Geetha are re-united. more»
